Real-World Deployment: Probionate
Our flagship IoT deployment — a connected enzyme monitoring system built from scratch and running in the field since 2017.
Probionate needed a way to remotely monitor enzyme dispensation across multiple sites. Off-the-shelf solutions didn't exist for their specific use case — so we built everything from the ground up.
The hardware: custom ESP32 devices with 4G connectivity, designed to operate in industrial environments. The firmware handles sensor readings, local data buffering when connectivity drops, and over-the-air updates so we can push improvements without site visits.
The software: a Laravel-powered cloud dashboard that gives the Probionate team real-time visibility into every connected device. Automated alerts when readings fall outside expected ranges. Historical data analysis for optimising dispensation schedules. All accessible from any browser, on any device.
